Congratulations to Lawton High School junior Adylynn Anderson. She won the 2023 State of Oklahoma Poetry Out Loud Competition. MacArthur High School JROTC will be hosting their 49th Annual Formal JROTC Ball on Fri., March 10th, from 6:45 - 10:00 pm in the McCasland Ballroom at Cameron University. This event is put on by the Highlander Battalion, JROTC cadets from each of the three LPS high schools come together for fun, friendship, and food.

MacArthur High School will be hosting the RGB Invitational on Sat., Feb. 25 from 9 am - 5 pm at MacArthur High School. Esports teams from all across Oklahoma will come together to compete in tournaments in Overwatch 2, League of Legends, and Super Smash Bros: Ultimate. Several colleges will be in attendance giving students an opportunity to play for college recruiters.
