Something strange is landing at LETRA this summer…
Get ready for the Alien 8K Run, Ruck & Walk on August 15 at 8 PM at Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area! Whether you’re sprinting through the darkness, rucking under the stars, or taking a casual moonlit walk, this out-of-this-world event is bringing spooky extraterrestrial vibes to Fort Sill.
Participants will receive an exclusive event T-shirt, themed bib, finisher medal, and ruck patch for registered ruckers. The Alien 8K medal is also part of the 2026 Fort Sill Run Series collectible set, connecting with other themed medals throughout the year.
Open to the first 500 participants to register. Ruck division weight requirements are 15 lbs for women and 25 lbs for men.

Registration Information
Registration is $35 through July 15 and increases to $45 beginning July 16.
